Threw down the big wupping stick to try and survive this first marathon attempt.  Ran with Hairdog and Brother Fritz on a beautiful morning in Huntsville on generally the first part of the Ogden marathon course.  Felt the usual aches and pains but was happy overall keeping at a slower pace and enjoying the conversation with the Dog.  Worried about Fritz though, he might have been having a slight coronary.  He is a pack mule though and tough as snot.  Nick gave us great support and encouragement. Nice burger after at the Double Diamond and want to take Gina home.  avg 9:19

Gina -- does make a fine chocolate Milk too. Nothing like a smooth drink after a sweet long run!! I was proud of you three - perfect morning for it too. Windy as all get out today. I too am worried about the 'mule' he didn't even recognize us for a few minutes...better warn someone to keep an eye out! Newport??
