Glorious outing to conquer top of Grandeur Peak. Oreo and I started out at approx 2 degrees in the inversion poison and ended at peak in radiant sunshine. Oreo looked like he stepped out of a thai jungle by the top...sweatfest for sure the temps up there were balmy and toasty. Wanted a lawnchair to sit at the peak for a bit. Run down to Pipeline is one of my favorite areas of all time. Shoe screws worked great to keep slippage to a minimum. We left a car at Rattlesnake. Awesome morning. |
