Big T Loop with Happy Trail extension...  All road all the time the last 2 runs.  Today was cool because it was lower temps and smelled post rain good.  A bit sore here and there but longest run in a while...need to have an adventure on the books.  Zion?

What?  Running again...yes I am.  Just road miles up to Skyline and down Millcreek road, but they were good miles to be out in the semi cool air of morning.

Upper Pipeline from Burch Hollow to Elbow Fork, slow run all the way up and picked it up a bit coming home...totally beautiful weather out there.  Leaves changing, snakes absent, sky perfect, temp 50s...awesome

On somewhat of a whim and for something to do in a new area I signed up for this run that I stumbled across online the last few weeks.  this was a cool race held as part of a series of 4 trail races in the Park City area.  Glad I did...this was well organized and had cool people around and was a tougher than road marathon half with 1250 elevation gain on singletrack and dirt roads.

Main goal was to just keep running even on all the ups.  I did, so I was happy on that one...also felt happy to just go that far as it was my longest venture out since the O town marathon wrecked me in May.  Beautiful day, with slightly warm temps but I didnt have the energy to rip the shirt off.

Garmin had the course long at 13.44

Good times!  And they give a cool glass pint with race logo instead of shirt...not sure why I like that so much but I do.

5 guys double burger in my gut...so ran it off with some loops around Little Bells reservoir.  Beautiful morning with a fair number of people walking up there.  Animals out today with a deer a couple squirrels and a few stellar birds/bluejays.  Good stuff.  Ready to trade the rest of my life in for more of this.

Grandeur Peak loop this morning.  This is a butt kicker for me...but perfect conditions. 2 miles up and 3000 feet is just a grind and seems never ending but overall felt as good as I ever have going up...eating beef jerky and almonds on the way.  Saw no one on way up.  Top 1/3 of mountain and whole backside is glorious fall colors.  A terrestrial potpourri so to speak.

Went over the peak and then the payoff of this loop is the next 3.5 miles.  This trail is so cool right now going down to Pipeline.  The colors are outstanding the temps perfect and the trail in great shape.  Died a bit from Rattlesnake back to the car..but overall super outing...When you bros going to join me?
