Nice post call run.  Up most of the night with naughty twins.  (Babies needing c-section, I should clarify).  Run was painful, avg 8:27.  Lots of side aches.  Likey fatigue and lack of sympathy.

Anyway, time for nap. food. shower

Enjoyed this one.  Longest I have gone in some months.  Seem slow since May but at least I am still doing it.  avg 8:37.  I need some regimen to get energy after a run.  Something in the nutritional department I am thinking.  Raisin Bran not cutting it.  Apple Fruit pie neither.

Post call, post department meeting run.  What was truly amazing was I finally broke 8 minutes on a mile.  7:35 on the last one.  Granted, I was going downhill and it was the last one, but hooray for small victories.  avg 8:19.  I also have a lower left lip and chin that is alternating searing burning neuropathic pain, and wooden numbness.  This is from a recent dental implant.  Life is great.

avg 8:19  I feel if I can start very slow I can build to something faster (relative to me of course) by the end.  Third mile was 7:47.  Anytime I break 8, I feel like I am accomplishing something given the relative few miles I run.  I am trying to make a concerted effort to up miles.  But so far work and wussitude have not complied.  Fun run today.

Longest run since May.  Felt good except legs started to get tired by the end.  Never pushed too hard.  Just wanted to get some miles in.  avg 8:29

Very hot but very cool race.  I ran this one on the advice of my brother Nicholas.  Plus Ogden is in my old stopping grounds.  First mile is mostly uphill on a single track trail.  i made the mistake of getting trapped in behind a lot people who ended up walking part of it.  hard to get in any kind of pace.  the rest of the race was beautiful on the trail, but i was feeling very sluggish from mile 3 to finish.  Just haven't figured out how to increase the pace in the heat and late start (3 pm).  However it was a great confidence boost just to have keep going when I didn't feel great.  avg about 8:23
