Drove to Big water parking lot at the end of Millcreek canyon and went on Dog Lake to Desolation Lake loop ending coming down Great Western Trail from Desolation.  This is a beautiful loop with about 2800 feet of climbing.   I love the views around Desolation.  I am out of shape for these longer miles.  Kind of a kick in the butt to try and get back to some regular running.  I am in the realm of miles that I am always in some pain.  Difficult to get in any rhythm and have feel good miles.
