This was a fun day. Spent the day with brother Nick.  He was running the Squaw Peak 50 and I joined him at aid station 6 and went the last 24 with him.  Good thing I did because he started hallucinating in there somewhere and said we would run up "to that lamppost".  The lamppost was a gnarled old tree.  Ha Ha.  But after 45 miles who could argue.  There was some seriously beautiful country to go over and through.  Hairdog went about 8 with us as well then ran back out to get the car.  Windy Pass was actually fun to see.  Beautiful views.  Felt good today with little pressure because I was mainly trying to be a good support.  Nice role except I about did 15 faceplants hitting roots and rocks with my feet on the downhill.  Did manage to stay afloat.  Nick did a great job on his first 50 miler even with a bum knee.

Hey, I saw that lamppost too? Good to get the bro through it! Thanks for the good words at aid 6, gave me the lift I needed. I expect to see the Froerer family entry in 2011.
