stomach cramps today, so wussed out of my long run to only do six.  was hoping to do more for the last big week before the phoenix half, but i'm not trying to break any records so... hey go utes though, excellent game last night. avg 8:28

had to get one longer one in before Phoenix and also was humbled by velveeta's 11 and nick's  treadmill 10. Very cold start at 15 degrees, warmed up to a balmy 18 by the end of the stumbling bumbling frostbitten run.  sore and slow, but not to shabby for a fuzzy hairlip like myself. avg 8:45 with a lot of it downhill.  Had a serious "hot lamb" moment at mile 7 when I almost ran off the cliff while dizzy and delirious.  I had anne drop me off on the Parley's canyon lookout park lot and then ran along wasatch blvd to 60th south around old mill and then back home.  See you in Phoenix bros.

Cottonwood mall loop.  Painful knee, groin and tailbone.  I'm not sure I want to run longer than this.  However some hot chicka runnner pulled out in front of me for a mile at approx 5 and for some reason pain went away during that distraction.  Maybe there is a lesson in there somewhere.

Loop around Olympus High.  Beautiful sunny day here in SLC.  Worried that I may only beat Imperious, hairdog and Oreo? by minutes rather that tens of minutes as feel crappy and old in prep for the Rock and Roll half.

Fun time with the brothers in Arizona.  Four of us ran the half with 21990 other runners.  Party time all around.  I, of course, was soundly beat by my younger, stronger siblings, but they are studs, so it is ok.  The race was painful for me because I was obviously under trained.  avg 8:29   Only managed to run twice a week for that last months of time.  Just not enough to get rid of the pain of long distances I guess,  but proud non the less.  I just couldn't pick up the pace.  Legs felt heavy and the tactical error of not wearing ipod was not helping my sometimes weak mind.  the music helps me disconnect.  The race was well organized, and went off without a hitch.  The course is quite honestly boring city block running but entertaining with lots of spectators.

Had a great time overall.

Honestly tried to run as fast as I could for three miles.  23:27  avg 7:48  Thats it folks, but good enough for the girls I go with.  After the run went and joined my lady for 35 minutes of Yoga DVD.  I excel at the non stretchy poses, but suck at any stretch at all.  so be it.

Avg 8:31  Sparking run in the rain and wet slc streets.  Nice and easy, also some downward dog this morning so I can strengthen my upper core so I can kick my broha's collective butts.

Went snowshoeing up millcreek canyon on pipeline trail.  Beautiful day.  foot of new snow.  frozen trees, branches, etc.  went with Anne.  Good times and pretty decent workout as well.

Was going to go 6, but so be it...avg 8:17, too tired and stomach crampy post call.  I think I might just be pregnant.  Nice delivery at midnight though.
