I'm recording this as a run, but it was really a run/power walk.  Decided I need to conquer Granduer peak by millcreek once and for all.  I have started up twice before.  This by the way is the straight up trail by parleys not the wimpy but longer switch back trail from millcreek.  2.5 miles or so up took me 1 hour 25 minutes.  8 minutes at top to survey the awesome view then ran the 2.5 or so back to the car in 30 minutes.  the up hill is a lung bursting 3299 foot climb to 8299 feet ,the down was killing my quads to the point I didnt know if I could keep standing by the finish.  anyway there it is. I am a star.  a star with dimming light but a star none the less.

A star is born on Granduer peak that's what the legend will say. Good climb. I need to come down that way and experience some of these SLC runs..
